I'm Sarah Weier, a Licensed Professional Counselor and the founder of Tikvah Counseling and Wellness. I provide online counseling for all ages navigating grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Whether you're facing a recent loss or carrying long-standing emotional pain, I’m here to help you reconnect with your own strength, clarity, and sense of purpose.
My approach is holistic and trauma-informed, blending practical tools with deep emotional work. I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Somatic techniques, and Psychodrama to support healing on multiple levels—mind, body, and spirit. Therapy with me is collaborative and grounded in trust. I’ll meet you where you are, at your pace.
I believe we all have the capacity to heal, especially when we’re seen, heard, and supported. My role isn’t to fix you—it’s to walk alongside you as you make meaning, build resilience, and create space for change that feels authentic and lasting. For couples, my role is to partner with you, exploring both areas of disconnection and hurt and building connection and emotional safety in your relationship.
Outside of counseling, I’m a lifelong learner of philosophy and spirituality, and the many ways people find hope in the face of hardship. “Tikvah” means hope in Hebrew—and that’s the heart of this work.
